Behdad's post have been kill'n me so I headed down to my favorite surfing/fishing spot, my chosen activity to be determined. Well the surf was nada and the tide was peaking so I decided to fish. I fished a Kastmaster for nothing and made a few moves. The final location was absolutely loaded with corbina, some were hogs. I knew the KM was a longshot so put together a carolina rig with 6lb Seaguar and a #6 red mosquito. The normall sandcrab area was a blank so I did some scouting and found a few nice ones near by. So, One crab, four or five casts and bingo. The fish made some great runs, the best were from the skinny when he could see me. I beached the fish and took a quick pick from the phone and put him back in the water. After a minute or so the fish seemed ready and cruised away strongly. A fat 23"+...

"Dude, It took me 3 months to get a 22" two summers ago."

Dr , I know what you mean. Thats how corb fishing has been for me in the past as well. Lots of fish up to 20" but tough to find the biger models untill this year. Big fish are all over. Think 08 is going to be a banner corb season. I think we're going to see a 26 or even a 27" soon.
