I will be camping at a spot 1/2 between Santa Barbara and Point Conception in a few days and am considering launching in Santa Barbara and anchoring the boat along the beach. Is there any fishing along the coast there??? It is about 34 28.12/120 07.09 or so.

Excellent fishing right in front on big reef/kelp. If you are motoring up from SB, the Ellwood Pier/Naples areas can be very good. So is El Capitan area. Reports of jumbo bonitos recently in that neck of the woods. Thrashers too. Good luck. Craig.
