Ran my boat from downtown LB to Belmont Shore pier yesterday. Lots of red tide spots building despite cooling water temps..may or may not affect halibut, as frequently, it only goes down half-way to the bottom and the halibut aren't affected...

I ran from Redondo to San Pedro today and did not see any red tide at all. I hope it does not make its way up the coast.

Over by Rocky Point I was in 40ft of water and could see the bottom with no problem.
