RE: Que?

Guess we should all kneel and pray??? What happened to this thread
you guys really high jacked it.

I just thought it was funny how the DFG cant even keep up with it's own REGS. Do they just tell themself that Ignorance is no excuse?

RE: Que?

BigBill posted what happened and his own detailed follow-up. It was an excellent post.

The only thing left for us to do would be:

1: beat the dead horse one more time of how even the DFG Wardens can't keep up with the ever-changing regulations that we are supposed to have memorized.

orrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

2: we could have fun with his previous avitar.

BigBill -
Thanks for changing your avatar. Other boards are famous for that stuff...and there's nothing wrong with it in that atmosphere. On the other hand, over here we get to freely say whats on our minds without having to put up with a circle-jerk of the exact same response repeated 20-50 times.

Was checked on Sunday at the Gap by DFG Ranger and got cited for possession of SCULPIN or California Scorpion Fish. Ranger told me that Sculpin os OFF SEASON now and issued a ticked. I WAS 100% SURE that Sculpin is part of RCG species, but got ticket anyway.

NOW, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION. Regulations Booklet contains WRONG INFORMATION - Sculpin season Open OCT-DEC and Closed JAN-SEPT.

DFG website (www.DFG.CA.gov) states that Sculpin is RCG complex
and season IS OPEN NOW.

Regulation Booklet with WRONG information:

I'd recommend to print out CORRECT INFORMATION and have it with you on fishing trip. Just in case.

Yesterday ranger called me with apologies, ticket dismissed but you know the feeling.

Good Luck,
Bill
