Thank you for the memories Vin. As a young boy in the early 70's, my father and I would listen to you on the transistor radio while tinkering in the garage or bringing the radio to the game so we could listen to you call it while in the stands.
Truly an Icon and the best announcer to ever grace the sports world.

I had a similar experience but I think a little earlier and we had an old tube radio (that I think my sister still has) in the garage...

He could sure put you at the game. I think that's one of the great things about baseball, you don't have to watch it to enjoy it.
