I?m picking up an outfit to fish locally and the guy at the tackle shop here raves about the Ryobi Zauber. I am also considering the Shimano Twin Power, but it is quite a bit more money. Any info on either reel would be appreciated.

I have fished the twinpower 8000 for 2 years it is a excellent reel....I use it to throw surface poppers and surface iron...in most cases you get what you pay for.....I also don't know much about the Ryobi service.
I usually do my own service, but will Shimano US service the Twin?

I?ve never really used a spinner before and I want to see how I like it before I shell out a lot of cash. Any recommendations? I want to try it on my 13-day in July, and I?d like to be able to fish up to 40# on it.

I'm also am not familar with the Ryobi Zauber. So I just googled it. It can't be that great for under a hundred bucks. If I were you, I'd look into the Shimano Saragosa line of spinners. They aren't Stella's but everybody is giving them rave reviews. They are a mid priced spinner.
