put a new prop on and things were going very well. 24 kts. to malibu today... trolled around for a while and started to head home. running fine again then all of the sudden RPM's stay the same at 3000 but lost foward motion. went down to 10 kts. looked at the outdrive, looked at the engine..nothing visually happening. put it in neutral and then back into forward and planed up and back to 20kts. went for another couple miles then repeat of the same thing. if feels as though something is slipping because when i got back to mdr and in the harbor, when i went from 10 to 8 to 7 kts. it felt as though it "grabbed" something better and started to push the boat again. any ideas guys, i am out?

you could still have a spun prop hub if it is pressed rubber...you may have clipped a mola mola, shark, log, etc just hard enough to spin it out and not noticed..if the rubber is old, it may have broken off some of the hub material...
