Not a T-shark expert but I think they've just moved on up the line. Look at the records from years past, bite usually starts south and moves up for a few weeks and then dwindles quickly. Nothing shocking, fish have tails, in this case big ones.
Probably still some fish around OC just not the motherlode so you'll have to look harder. What ya might find easier is the cuda, still better than a skunk though. Good luck!
P.S. By the way, I feel your pain. The T's first bit well locally the day I left on a week long trip and were slim pickens by the time I had finally caught up on work from being away. Usually, a guy could time all the epic bites to corrrespond exactly with my boat being in the shop... :z.....but corresponding to my vacations is a new one to me...Great! :td:
