The 2023 POP Fishing & Marine Expo!
POP-Pacific Ocean Producers located in Honolulu, Hawaii!
Today was the 40th anniversary of my favorite fishing & boating supply store in the islands! It was nice to see familiar faces & to shake hands & have pics taken with local anglers. It was nice to see all the exhibits and just to be part of the "ambiance" that is POP.
This event was very well organized. All the exhibitors felt the same. The most popular non-fishing exhibit was The Green Egg by far! The most popular fishing exhibit? I'd say it was the Penn Fishing & Lawai'a. Everyone was flocking to watch the Lawai'a shirt printing! Even myself. The NEW red Ugly Sticks at Penn resembled & felt like a high quality Salmon/Steelhead rod. Very thin & streamlined. And the company rep knew his stuff as well.
