Looks like the Thunderbird is getting it done with some big boys. Report from 976 below:

"They are on the 2nd day of a two-day trip, yesterday they thought fishing was good but last night, the genie came out of the bottle and their wish came true. The bite was on and they are damaged this morning but still at war. They picked up 17 bluefin tuna over 100-pounds with 6 fish over 200-pounds"

It's outstanding that they are getting these big fish in U.S. waters and well north of the border. Heck, the Oxnard / Ventura boats can make this run easily if they wanted but I'm sure they are content with the WSB and nice size halibut they been putting on the decks this season. Been a great year so far for them at the Channel Islands.
