Hello everyone,

Is anyone using the Daiwa Megaforce Twichin Bar Reel? I would like to know how its holding up. Are you using it in the salt? Fresh?

I have one. I used it for bay bass fishing. Didn't last very long. The levelwind started binding after the 3rd or 4th trip and it has jerky drags out of the box. You get what you pay for. Its currently sitting in my cabinet probably never to be fished again. It does cast really nice though.

I had a Diawa TD1 that I used in the saltwater and the one way roller bearing got destroyed by the saltwater.
Some of the Diawa's are questionable in the salt IMO. :td:
