Here's all the details. Be sure to check the "Rules"..as there have been a few changes.

Thanks...!

OVERVIEW
Sat night, jANUARY 13TH, 2007
$20.00 per person, max three anglers per team
Max 35 teams allowed to enter
Check in at the Committee Boat between 3:00 and 4:00 pm
Committee Boat will be Bill Larkin's Play N Hookey again (Thanks Bill)
Shotgun Start is at 4:00 pm
Committee Boat will be anchored at the SW corner of Pier J (same place as always) and monitoring ch 69
GPS Coordinates: 33/44/120 X 118/11/848

There are a couple of important changes from previous years. I am making the changes to facilitate the check in and ease the task of the inebriates on the committe boat.

1) All monies MUST be sent in by Jan. 6th. This means entry fees, side pot entries and T-shirts. If for any reason you don't get your money in you cannot approach the committee boat until AFTER the shotgun start. If you don't have your money in for all entries, etc. YOU WILL MISS THE SHOTGUN START. If you add a team member after Jan. 6th...you will miss the shotgun start.

2) The Biggest Calico Sidepot is now a team event. The entry is $20.00 per team. Please pay this when you send in your team entry money.

3) It is up to the team to hand the committee boat your 3 biggest fish. The committe boat will not weigh your fish for you to determine which 3 you enter. If you enter the side pot for biggest calico you must use this fish in your entry. Have your fish culled before you get in line for weigh in.

Rule #1
Again, this thing is put together by people volunteering their own time, for one reason only: to have fun. No complaining will be allowed. All decisons made by the tournament director are final. Please have fun.

TO ENTER
Use the link below to send in your team name and all the members on your team. Please include the first and last names.
[email protected]

You will get a reply with an address on where to send your check. Make check payable to Chuck Robinson and please put your team name in the memo. When your check arrives and you're within the limit, you'll get a comfirmation and a team number. You'll be asked this number when checking in at the Committee Boat. (returning teams will have priority)

I wil have some very nice 100% cotton T-Shirts with pocket and a full color back logo. This is a cool new logo for 2007.
s-XL = $12.00
2XL = $13.50
3XL = $15.00
4XL = $167.50

DEADLINE
Your check has to be here by Sat, January 6th, 2007. Please understand this, we've had to turn away good friends in the past.

BOUNDARIES
All legal areas of the LB/LA Harbor, but no more than 1/4 mile outside the Breakwall.

RESTRICTIONS
This is strictly a catch and release tournament. Only live fish will be weighed and must be considered able to survive by the Weighmaster. Only legal size bass are eligible i.e. Calicos, Sandies and spotted.
No live bait or chum is permitted. Squid strips and scents are allowed.

THE WEIGH-IN
To help reduce dead fish, the Committee Boat will weigh any of your fish any time during the tournament. Once a fish is weighed and recorded it cannot be replaced by another fish. The weigh-in ends at 8:30 pm, you must be in line at this time in order to be weighed. It is the responsibility of each team to cull their three largest fish, handing these fish only to the committee. In the event of an exact tie the money for those spots will be split between the involved teams. For example...if 2 teams tie for the second heaviest weights, they will split 2nd place and 3rd place monies

THE PAY OUT
The five teams with the heaviest total weight of three live fish will be awarded the winnings, divided as follows:

The first place team will get 40% of the total purse
Second place will get 30%
Third - 15%
Fourth - 10%
Fifth - 5%

AFTERWARDS
Again we have the patio area of Hof's Hut reserved for the awards. We'll distribute the winnings, raffle off the donations and lie like fishermen.

AND FINALLY
Since it would be nearly impossible to reschedule this thing; bring the foul weather gear because we will make every attempt to finish it. If the weather becomes unsafe in the judgement of the committee, the winnings will be raffled off. By signing up for this tournament it is understood that you are aware of the normal risks associated with a night of fishing, you are participating at your own risk and will not attempt to hold anyone responsible for any misfortune.

Not at all. It comes with a lot of added "accessories". Worth every penny. ;-)

Heck, don. If someone can afford the meals that it takes to fill that XXXXL, they can certainly afford the inflated price. :+
