Springtime weather conditions have kept the fleet near the beach recently . Sooner or later I hope we catch a break. It's now June and that means the Albacore and Bluefin are out there. I'm all spooled up with nowhere to go! Is anyone else getting the itch?

Thing is, I don't see this weather coming down in the near future. And if it's like this, the boats can't get out to look around for fish. I for one want to catch one, as it's a yearly thing to catch and albacore as early as possible for me.
Come on nice weather.

David, our PC crashed and I lost some links. What's a good weather prediction site? Looking for offshore for the 7 day 6/13-20. Is it looking like a run down to Cedros and take a beating on the way back up for the rest of the month?

I'll bet you ARE really pumped up!

Judging by your words and the way you're hollering with your "caps" key, you're wound up so tight that if you fart you'll get there before the boat does! 8):tu:

Words of encouragement and hope. From Bill Roecker's website 6/5: "Lately the wind has been so fierce at the 200-mile range it?s been next to impossible to fish albies. But it?s beginning to drop off, and American Angler skipper Sam Patella told me he expects it to lay down tomorrow. So now it may be game on for tuna fishing, and wouldn?t that be a great thing?" And giving credit where it's due, here's a link to Bill's site: http://www.fishingvideos.com/news/ And then, I just read this on a report from Mike Ramirez on Excel: "We awoke this morning to discover that the weather, although still not great, had backed off considerably. Always a good sign."
