They'll likely stop for a little while somewhere on the way back up for something, maybe yt maybe rockfish. Unlikely to stop on the way down, just gonna bomb it south to get lookin for cows.

If they stop for yt I prefer to yoyo, just my preference. If it's rockfish bring a jig suitable for lings and yoyo, good fun.

Wahoo trolling is possible but unlikely, depending on water temps.

It's a quick run into Mag bay from the lower banks, they might make a run in, but a warning, the Excel has a lot of bait tank capacity, it can take a long time to fill a couple boxes if it's not a fast mack bite! UGH.

Great time of year for a 10 day!

I fished this trip a few years ago and it was a good trip. They went straight to the rocks, fished there about2 1/2 3 days for yft to 100lbs and yt40lbs.Then we cruised around the lower banks area and found a biting school one morning at Toussant bank and caught yft to 176lbs.Not a lot but if you got your line in the water when the boat first pulled up it was no problem getting bit.I happened to wake up early and heard some commotion on the deck and quickly grabbed a #60 outfit and got bit twice. After a couple days of this it was up the coast looking and some beach areas for yt then the rock cod stop and lunch fish fry and home.

Its a fun trip. For big tuna it all depends on the water temps and conditions. One thing for sure,Better than working!
