Check this post, not sure if the numbers are in it or not.

Another option is to contact Larry/Islandah as he fishes

Just go to the Santa Ana river entrance and when you run over the pipe you will see it easy . It goes way off shore and has a 10 ft relief !!

Oh the internet generation. No one has paper charts anymore.

Here's a chart with the pipe circled. The buoy near the end of the pipe where it bends is at approximately 33[sup]o[/sup] 34'21" / 118[sup]o[/sup] 00'04"

Pick your own spot.

Click this LINK.
http://mapserver.maptech.com/homepage/index.cfm?lat=33.6014100819&lon=-117.996965469&scale=234270&zoom=100&type=0&height=498&width=498&icon=0&searchscope=dom&CFID=4196401&CFTOKEN=20535734&scriptfile=http://mapserver.maptech.com/homepage/index.cfm&bpid=MAP0060030900%2C1%2C1%2C0&latlontype=DM.MM

Then move your mouse around and watch the LAT/LON change in the lower left hand corner.

Wish this stuff had been around 30 years ago.

RE: Pick your own spot.

That's cheating John. It's much more fun to break out the dividers and parallel rulers :)

(Though I have to admit, I used Maptech to find the coordinates posted above)
