Again we are of to the islands for a WSB weenend. This time it will be June 20-21 and 22. The water is warmer than last month and the fish have been on the bite. It will be close to the full moon . Most will be launching at Ventura Harbor.

Hi Harold,
Happy Father's Day! Any more word on next weekend? Is everyone meeting up in the same place at night? We're trying to figure out how to fit everyone on the boat and are thinking about camping out on one of the beaches. Sounds like a fun weekend and a great way to kick off the summer!

Not sure if I am going to make it down. Weather looks iffy. Long drive for a chance of snotty weather. If weather changes I might change my mind. Sounds like lots of fish out there. Getting them to bite is another strory. Not sure how much of this Northern California stuff I could put up with. Might move back down sooner than later. Good luck this weekend.

hey harold,

danika and i were planning on going out thursday-monday for fishing and surfing. the wind looks like it will be up a bit, so we'll see. the island tak got around 35 wsb today (monday) so they are out there. i think they were fishing the yellow banks area. we fished down south for some really nice rockfish and got the report from ciscos when we came back into the harbor.

if the the trip is on, is there a channel we'll all be using?

if we get blown out again, hopefully we'll be able to make it up in july.
